I must say the Americans know how to do a rest stop. Once it was explained to me how the numbering works on the freeways it made negotiating the cities less stressful, but I do wish we wouldn't hit them during rush hours. Today we went through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa. Sun going down and we found a place to stay in a truck stop/rest stop kind of area in Stuart, Iowa. Had dinner in the MacDonalds and the Kum & Stop. Yum.
