Just to prove I was actually paying attention, while Carmen was driving, I made a note that a lot of the wind turbines we saw, were part of the Adair Wind Project in Iowa. Apparently Iowa generates nearly a quarter of its energy from wind.
Iowa's largest energy company, MidAmerican Energy, which is owned by Warren Buffet announced it will add more than 650 turbines to Iowa’s open spaces by 2015.
